Success at Goodwill is often a team effort.
When Tiffany began her vocational evaluation, her goal was clear: find her first paying job—one that utilized her strengths and interests and kept her moving.
Through a collaborative effort between her Service Coordinator, Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD), and Goodwill Career Coach Hollie, Tiffany completed a two-week Community Work Experience at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Columbus (JCC).
In this role, Tiffany stays active by assisting members with exercise equipment, performing custodial work, and ensuring everyone has the resources they need to reach their goals. Tiffany enjoys keeping busy, and as an added bonus, she gets a free fitness membership and other perks!
Tiffany’s dependability and “extra effort” made an immediate impression on the JCC team, who fast-tracked her application to hire her as a part-time Fitness Attendant.
Her supervisor, Katy, shared:
“It has been so fulfilling to observe Tiffany blossom and find success in so many different ways. Our team truly enjoys working with her—she is a huge asset. It’s a win-win for everone!”
Outside of the gym: When she’s not helping members at the JCC, Tiffany enjoys her independence living in Creative Housing. You can usually find her fueled by a good cup of coffee and diving into her favorite thriller and fantasy novels—the perfect way to recharge after a busy day on the fitness floor.
