We at Goodwill Columbus are honored to be a grant recipient of CAREER 500 — a transformational partnership between City of Columbus and ASPYR to uplift 500 or more Columbus residents by providing training, wraparound support, and job placement services.
The funds will support our STNA program, which provides free, high-quality training for low-income individuals seeking careers as State Tested Nursing Assistants in Central Ohio.
Graduates benefit from job placement assistance, achieving a 75% employment rate, and an average starting wage of $18.08 per hour, with ongoing support for one year post-employment to ensure retention and career growth.
